Governo do Amazonas realiza concurso estudantil para prevenir violência contra a mulher
Em comemoração aos 11 anos da Lei Maria da Penha (Lei 11.340/06), o Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Justiça, Direitos Humanos e Cidadania (Sejusc) e Secretaria Executiva de Políticas para as Mulheres (SEPM) lançam o 5º Concurso Estadual de Prevenção à Violência Contra as Mulheres, voltado aos estudantes da rede pública dos ensinos Fundamental, Médio, Educação de Jovens e Adultos( EJA) e projeto Avançar.
A cerimônia de abertura será nesta quinta-feira, 10 de agosto, às 9h na reitoria da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA) (Avenida Djalma Batista, 3.578, bairro Flores, zona Oeste). O concurso conta com o apoio da Secretaria de Estado de Educação e Qualidade do Ensino (Seduc) e Conselho Estadual dos Direitos da Mulher (Cedim).
O tema deste ano é “A representação da mulher na mídia: Manifestações de discriminação e violência”. O objetivo é promover uma reflexão junto aos alunos sobre como os meios de comunicação e de publicidade e propaganda utilizam a imagem feminina e a relaciona a conceitos ligados à sensualidade, subserviência, beleza física, vaidade e superficialidade.
“Queremos desconstruir o machismo que vem sendo fortalecido, mesmo que inconsciente ou subjetivamente, por meio de músicas, novelas, campanhas publicitárias em geral, em que a mulher é tratada como objeto e chamariz sensual e sexual. Com isso, a mídia acaba contribuindo para a exposição negativa da mulher. Com esse concurso, vamos abrir o debate com crianças e jovens, conhecer a visão deles quanto ao tema e como eles podem contribuir para combater esse estereótipo”, conclui a secretária executiva de políticas para as mulheres, Keyth Bentes.
As inscrições são gratuitas e realizadas em qualquer escola pública de 10 de agosto a 15 de setembro nas categorias Cartaz, Redação, Teatro e Música. A premiação dos vencedores será no dia 24 de novembro em Manaus. O regulamento completo está disponível nas secretarias das escolas.
Serviços – O Amazonas possui uma rede de serviços voltados à mulher vítima de violência doméstica e familiar que na maioria dos casos inicia na Delegacia Especializada em Crimes contra a Mulher, mas outros órgãos fazem parte da rede, como o Serviço de Apoio Emergencial a Mulher (Sapem), Casa Abrigo, Centro Estadual de Referência e Apoio a Mulher (Cream), Sala Rosa do Instituto Médico Legal (IML), Ronda Maria da Penha, 1º e 2º Juizados Especializados no Combate a Violência Doméstica e Familiar Contra a Mulher, Núcleo de Atendimento Especializado da Defensoria Pública e Centros de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (Creas). Este último com atendimento em todos os municípios do Amazonas.
“Apesar dos atendimentos se concentrarem na capital, o interior, também é assistido através das delegacias, Creas e Cras. Nosso objetivo é implantar delegacias da mulher nos municípios e fortalecer as ações das Promotoras Legais Populares que anualmente se formam para atender o interior”, explica, Bentes.
Casos – Segundo a secretária, o Amazonas é um dos Estados que possui altos índices de violência contra a mulher, seja ela física ou psicológica. “De janeiro até julho, tivemos cerca de 12 feminicídios, só em Manaus. Nesses 11 anos de vigência da Lei Maria da Penha ainda temos muitos desafios de curto, médio e longo prazo para resolvermos. Entre eles o que a mulher precisa se perceber como vítima de violência. Estudos apontam que a mulher demora até 10 anos para fazer a primeira denúncia. Ela sempre acha que o companheiro ou a companheira vai mudar e, muitas vezes, essa relação chega ao extremo da violência física, cárcere privado e por fim o assassinato” destacou Bentes.
Números – Dados revelam que de Janeiro a Junho de 2017, um total de 2.121 mulheres, de todas as zonas de Manaus, procuraram atendimento na rede de serviços. As zonas que mais apresentam casos de violência contra a mulher são a Norte, com 642 registros; e Leste com 439 casos.
Os tipos mais comuns são de violência moral, com 782 casos que inclui calúnia, injúria e difamação; violência psicológica que corresponde a 505 registros de ameaças e 203 casos de intimidação; violência física corresponde a 337 casos de vias de fato, 200 de lesão corporal e duas tentativas de homicídio.
Em 2016, 4.636 mulheres foram atendidas pela rede estadual, coordenada pela SEPM. Ameaça corresponde ao tipo de crime mais cometido: 1.264 casos ao todo. Calúnia, corresponde a 821 casos.
No ano passado, o número de atendimentos envolvendo violência física ficou em 544 casos de lesão corporal, 51 registros de tentativa de homicídio e 500 casos de vias de fato.
Os dados da SEPM também apontam que, em 2016, foram encaminhados ao sistema 21 registros de estupros contra mulheres
