Árbitro é agredido em pancadaria durante final de futsal no AM

O árbitro Elson Barão, da Federação Amazonense de Futebol de Salão (FAFS), foi agredido após o término da final do Campeonato Amazonense Sub-20 de Futsal, disputada na noite desta quinta-feira (30), na Arena Amadeu Teixeira, em Manaus. O Grêmio da Amazônia goleou o Recanto da Criança por 8 a 3 e conquistou o título estadual.

Vídeos divulgados nas redes sociais mostram o árbitro sendo cercado e agredido com socos, chutes e tapas por atletas, integrantes da comissão técnica e torcedores. Nas imagens, Elson Barão chega a utilizar um rodo para tentar se defender enquanto é perseguido pelos agressores (veja o vídeo acima).

A confusão começou logo após o apito final, quando jogadores do Recanto da Criança partiram em direção ao árbitro durante a comemoração do título pelo Grêmio da Amazônia.

Procurada pelo ge, a Federação Amazonense de Futebol de Salão emitiu nota de repúdio e prestou solidariedade à equipe de arbitragem, em especial a Elson Barão.

A entidade informou que o treinador e os atletas envolvidos do Recanto da Criança foram suspensos preventivamente de todas as competições organizadas pela FAFS até o julgamento do caso pelo Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva do Amazonas (TJD-AM), sem prejuízo da adoção de outras medidas disciplinares.

Na nota, a Federação destacou que repudia qualquer ato de violência contra profissionais da arbitragem e reafirmou o compromisso com a integridade, a segurança e o respeito nas competições organizadas pela entidade.

O ge também entrou em contato com o representante e treinador do Recanto da Criança, Itamar Oliveira. Ele afirmou que a confusão teve início após um atleta da equipe tentar cobrar explicações do árbitro e alegou que o jogador foi agredido primeiro.

— No final da partida, um dos nossos atletas, camisa 16, saiu para tirar satisfação. Quando ele chegou perto, antes mesmo de qualquer agressão, levou um soco do árbitro. A partir daí eu fiz a intervenção. Nós caímos no chão e, junto com a fisioterapeuta, fizemos um cordão para proteger o árbitro e evitar que ele fosse agredido. Em nenhum momento incentivamos qualquer tipo de violência, disse.
