A prática de intimidação política a servidores públicos da Prefeitura de Manaus, para apoiar a reeleição do prefeito David Almeida (Avante), foi denunciada nesta terça-feira, 22/10, pelo vereador William Alemão (Cidadania), durante um aparte ao pronunciamento do vereador Lissandro Breval (Progressistas), que abordou o tema, na tribuna da Câmara Municipal de Manaus (CMM).
Alemão endossou as preocupações de Breval, que revelou que servidores públicos, terceirizados e os chamados RDAs (Regime de Direito Administrativo) estão sendo pressionados a votar no atual prefeito, sob a ameaça de demissão. As investidas estariam ocorrendo em vários órgãos e unidades ligados diretamente a eles.
“Não são só os funcionários das escolas, das unidades de saúde, são praticamente todas as empresas terceirizadas que prestam serviço à Prefeitura de Manaus”, ressaltou Alemão.
O vereador comentou sobre conversas que teve com garis em diferentes bairros de Manaus, como São José, Tarumã e Compensa, onde eles relataram que estão sendo coagidos a votar no atual prefeito, temendo perder seus empregos caso não o façam.
“Esse uso da máquina precisa sim ser denunciado, precisa sim ser investigado, porque me parece muito mais um desespero de não sair da prefeitura ou sei lá o que mais tem para ser escondido”, afirmou Alemão.
William também reforçou a importância de não se calar diante dessas situações. Ele fez um apelo para que todos os servidores, terceirizados e cargos comissionados que estejam sendo constrangidos façam suas denúncias sem medo, destacando que esse tipo de política é “suja” e “baixa”. O vereador reiterou a necessidade de investigar a utilização de mecanismos de coerção política e denunciou a pressão sobre os RDAs, usados como “massa política” para garantir apoio eleitoral.
