O presidente norte-americano Donald Trump foi recebido com vaias em um restaurante em Washington na noite de terça-feira (9). Manifestantes receberam Trump gritando “Libertem Washington! Libertem a Palestina! Trump é o Hitler do nosso tempo!”
Trump se aproximou dos manifestantes que gritavam no restaurante, parando a poucos metros deles por alguns instantes, acenando com a cabeça e sorrindo sem responder. Segundos depois, Trump gesticulou para que a área fosse evacuada, dizendo “vamos, vamos embora”.
Agentes do Serviço Secreto retiraram os manifestantes do local, que agitavam faixas com a bandeira palestina. De dentro do restaurante, também foram ouvidas vaias aos manifestantes e gritos de apoio a Trump.

Trump concedeu entrevista antes do jantar
Trump é raramente visto jantando em público, mas a secretária de imprensa Karoline Leavitt confirmou que ele “e sua equipe saborearam caranguejo, camarão, salada, bife e sobremesa” em um restaurante a quarteirões da Casa Branca. Ele estava acompanhado pelo vice-presidente JD Vance, o secretário de Defesa Pete Hegseth, o secretário de Estado Marco Rubio, o vice-chefe de gabinete Stephen Miller, Leavitt e outros.
Antes da refeição, Trump disse à imprensa que “os restaurantes agora estão bombando” em Washington, atribuindo o sucesso dos restaurantes ao forte policiamento na capital dos EUA devido à presença de tropas da Guarda Nacional, enviadas por decisão dele.
