O Amazonas será palco da primeira edição do projeto “Guardiões da Amazônia”, uma iniciativa pioneira que busca transformar a educação e promover a sustentabilidade em três importantes municípios da região: Anori, Codajás e Manacapuru. A iniciativa, que conta com o apoio da Transportadora Associada de Gás – TAG, empresa que detém a mais extensa rede de gasodutos de transporte de gás natural do Brasil, e será lançada este ano, envolverá jovens e educadores, fortalecendo o protagonismo amazônico no cenário global.
A missão dos “Guardiões da Amazônia” é preparar jovens para os desafios do século 21, com foco no desenvolvimento integral do ser. Por meio de atividades culturais e educacionais, como oficinas, workshops, teatro e rodas de conversa, mais de 2.700 jovens da rede pública serão beneficiados, além de 100 professores que receberão capacitação específica, para ampliar o alcance das práticas sustentáveis na educação.
Foco nos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS)
Um dos pilares do “Guardiões da Amazônia” é capacitar os jovens para compreenderem e aplicarem os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) em diferentes áreas de atuação. A ideia é que esses jovens se tornem protagonistas de soluções sustentáveis, tanto na região quanto no mundo, por meio do aprendizado de práticas que abrangem desde a eficiência energética até o reaproveitamento de recursos e a liderança comunitária.
“Assim, de fato, esses jovens começarão a entender que o guardião da Amazônia pode estar em qualquer lugar: na indústria, no mercado de eficiência energética, trabalhando com resíduos, nas redes sociais ou nas comunidades. Não há limites para a atuação desse jovem amazônida, desde que ele esteja preparado para as transições sociais, climáticas, políticas e econômicas que vivemos hoje. Nosso objetivo é levar informação de qualidade para que ele possa se posicionar na região e ocupar seu espaço”, destaca Bellmond Viga, diretor do projeto.
Transformando desafios em oportunidades
O “Guardiões da Amazônia” também busca gerar impacto positivo para os educadores, capacitando mais de 100 professores da região para implementarem estratégias pedagógicas que fortaleçam a consciência ambiental e o protagonismo juvenil. Com dezenas de atividades planejadas, o projeto visa integrar os princípios da sustentabilidade ao cotidiano das comunidades locais, mostrando que é possível alinhar o desenvolvimento à preservação da floresta.
Agenda do projeto
Na primeira edição do projeto, as atividades começam em março de 2025. A data da segunda edição e a chegada na capital do Amazonas, Manaus, também já estão sendo organizadas.
Ao longo deste período, serão realizadas dinâmicas que promovem a conscientização ambiental, a valorização cultural e a preparação para transições sociais e climáticas. O encerramento será marcado por uma grande ação de plantio de mudas em Manaus, durante a Semana do Meio Ambiente, simbolizando o compromisso do projeto com o futuro da região. A data da segunda edição e a chegada em Manaus também estão sendo organizadas.
Com o “Guardiões da Amazônia”, a região escreve um novo capítulo em sua história, unindo educação, cultura e sustentabilidade para transformar o presente e inspirar o futuro.
Sobre a TAG
A TAG detém a mais extensa rede de gasodutos de transporte de gás natural do país, com mais de 4.500 km, que atravessam quase 200 municípios de dez estados brasileiros. São 3.700 km na região costeira do Brasil – nos Estados do Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Bahia, Espírito Santo e Rio de Janeiro -, e outros 800 km no Amazonas.
