Presidente da Aleam, Roberto Cidade conduz Sessão Especial em homenagem pelo Dia do Advogado

Presidente da Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam), o deputado estadual Roberto Cidade (UB), conduziu nesta quinta-feira, 10/8, no plenário Ruy Araújo, a Sessão Especial em homenagem pelo Dia do Advogado, comemorado anualmente no dia 11 de agosto. A propositura é de autoria do deputado presidente e dos deputados estaduais Débora Menezes (PL), Cristiano D’Angelo (MDB) e Thiago Abrahim (UB).

De acordo com o presidente da Casa, a homenagem se justifica pelos relevantes serviços prestados pelos profissionais do Direito na seguridade da igualdade, da plena Justiça, no auxílio e na garantia dos direitos fundamentais dos cidadãos.

“Os advogados são profissionais que fazem a diferença na vida das pessoas, que são defensores da Constituição e de todo o conjunto de leis que garantem o ordenamento social. Eles detêm a nobre missão de resguardar os princípios básicos e fundamentais, de resguardar o exercício de uma democracia efetiva. São profissionais que defendem o cumprimento das leis e promovem a igualdade e a defesa de direitos”, disse.

Presidente da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil Seccional do Amazonas (OAB-AM), Jean Cleuter Mendonça, agradeceu, em nome dos 18 mil advogados inscritos na Ordem, pela homenagem oferecida pela Assembleia Legislativa.

“Agradeço à Assembleia Legislativa por homenagear a advocacia amazonense. O advogado é essencial para o sistema de Justiça. Consta na Constituição Federal como imprescindível para a administração da justiça, desta forma todo cidadão que precisa do Poder Judiciário precisa de um advogado. O advogado tem a missão de defender o cidadão e a sociedade. Agradeço à Assembleia Legislativa pela homenagem e reconhecimento da nossa classe pela passagem do Dia do Advogado”, agradeceu o presidente da Ordem.

Durante a Sessão Especial, 105 profissionais do Direito foram agraciados com diplomas ofertados pelos deputados propositores da homenagem.
