Ação foi realizada em novo espaço, voltado a idosos e pessoas com deficiência
A Secretaria de Estado de Justiça, Direitos Humanos e Cidadania (Sejusc) encerrou o mês de outubro com atividades voltadas aos idosos, nesta terça-feira (31/10). Com o “Movimento Rosa e Azul: juntos pela pessoa idosa”, a secretaria ofertou vacinação, exames, aulas de zumba e um lanche compartilhado entre os participantes do programa Idoso Ativo.
Organizado pela Secretaria Executiva Adjunta de Direitos da Pessoa Idosa (Seadpi), ação ocorreu das 7h às 12h, no Centro Integrado de Cuidados para Idosos e Pessoas com Deficiência (CECIPcD) na rua Marquês Quixeramobim, 210, Conjunto Parque das Laranjeiras, zona centro-sul de Manaus, espaço aberto há um mês.
A ação abordou a prevenção do câncer de mama e de próstata, promovendo a conscientização, a educação, o acesso a exames preventivos e a adoção de hábitos saudáveis. A coordenadora do grupo “Unidos em Cristo” e do Fórum Permanente do Idoso do Estado do Amazonas, Valcylene de Oliveira, diz que a ação ofereceu exatamente o que os idosos buscavam.
“Está sendo bem legal, eles estão fazendo atividades, depois eles vão para os médicos e nós estamos aqui na fila da vacina, porque é importante a vacina, no caso, eu vou viajar e preciso vacinar antes e também ser o exemplo para que eles não tenham medo de vacina” ressalta Valcylene.
Os serviços ofertados foram disponibilizados pelo grupo UBS Nilton Lins em parceria com a Sejusc. A secretária executiva dos Direitos da Pessoa Idosa, Anne Alves, frisou que a data foi escolhida em referência ao Outubro Rosa e Novembro Azul.
“Nós pensamos nessa data, no dia 31, pensando nessa transição do mês de outubro para o mês de novembro, proporcionando ações de saúde e lazer para esses idosos, que são os participantes do Vida e Saúde do Idoso Ativo, um projeto do Governo do Estado do Amazonas, que disponibiliza uma equipe multidisciplinar para estar atendendo os idosos em todas as zonas”, apontou Anne.
Sobre o CeciPcD, novo espaço onde o “Movimento Rosa e Azul” foi realizado, a secretária ressaltou que foi pensado para unir dois públicos da Sejusc que mais precisam de acessibilidade.
“É um espaço onde vamos atender a pessoa idosa e a pessoa com deficiência, proporcionando também aulas de hidroginástica. É um espaço para o idoso, para ele se sentir à vontade, para se sentir acolhido. A secretaria do idoso nunca teve um espaço para trazer esses idosos e participar de atividades”, finalizou.
