A Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB) interceptou, nesta sexta-feira (31), um avião suspeito vindo da Bolívia. Após uma série de tentativas de comunicação com a aeronave de pequeno porte, os caças da FAB dispararam contra ela, com o objetivo de danificar o equipamento e forçar a aterrissagem.
“Devido à falta de colaboração da aeronave interceptada, que descumpriu recorrentemente as ordens da Defesa Aeroespacial, foi realizada a medida de Tiro de Detenção (TDE) — última etapa das Medidas de Policiamento do Espaço Aéreo, destinada a impedir a continuidade do voo”, informou a corporação.
Foram usados dois caças A-29 Super Tucano na aproximação. A aeronave não tinha plano de voo, não havia feito contato com os órgãos de controle de tráfego e não tinha matrícula identificada. Foram essas características que a classificaram como suspeita.
O avião realizou um pouso forçado a cerca de 200 km ao norte de Campo Grande (MS). Quando a polícia chegou ao local, de helicóptero, o avião já estava abandonado.
