Tendo como principais frentes de trabalho, a saúde, educação, meio ambiente, tecnologia, cultura e bem-estar social, o cirurgião-dentista e atual presidente da Comissão de Direitos Humanos, Povos Indígenas e Minorias da Câmara Municipal de Manaus (CMM), Dr. Daniel Vasconcelos (Republicanos), lançou sua candidatura à reeleição para vereador da capital amazonense nesta sexta-feira (16/08).
Segundo Dr. Daniel é uma honra representar a população na Câmara Municipal e pôr novamente seu nome à disposição das pessoas, é dar continuidade aos trabalhos.
“Agradeço a Deus, a confiança dos meus familiares, amigos, amigas e pessoas que conhecem o nosso trabalho, é por eles todos que estou vereador de uma das capitais mais importantes do Brasil, a Metrópole da Amazônia, Manaus, com seus mais de 2 milhões de habitantes, sendo a 5ª maior economia do país”, pontuou.
Em seu primeiro mandato, protocolou mais de 100 projetos de leis na CMM, tendo 18 aprovados, 16 sancionados pelo prefeito de Manaus, tornando-se lei Municipal e que, de acordo com o site “O Convergente”, é um dos mais produtivos e atuantes na Câmara. Por tudo isso, o parlamentar afirma que ainda tem muito a contribuir com o desenvolvimento da cidade, fazendo da boa política um instrumento de mudanças e oportunidades.
“Queremos avançar com o projeto Saúde em Dia, que através da dança, levamos saúde física e mental as pessoas; o Despertar para a Educação Ambiental- uma preocupação mundial- que além da sensibilização, entregamos mais de 5 mil mudas de plantas; o Projeto Realizar, que por meio de nossa emenda parlamentar, mais de 7 mil jovens receberam qualificação; além do Projeto Salvar, que também por meio emenda, famílias ribeirinhas foram beneficiadas com filtros d’água potável de alta tecnologia”, disse.
As leis municipais provenientes dos projetos de Dr. Daniel, são para os mais diversos públicos. Como o Fomento das Startups sediadas em Manaus; Programa Pintado a Escola; Campanha Gestante Saudável: Avança Manaus; Campanha de Prevenção contra a Catarata; Programa de Fornecimento de Banheiros Químicos na Feiras Livres Regulamentadas, entre outras.
Família, fé e compromisso público
Casado com a Enfermeira Jocilane Vasconcelos, pai de Gabriel, Daniel e Diego, é comprometido com a defesa da vida, família e principalmente com os menos favorecidos, dividindo seu tempo entre diversos afazeres, sem esquecer de Deus e da comunidade, é membro atuante na Pastoral Familiar da Paróquia São José Operário Leste.
De família humilde, o Amazônida Dr. Daniel Vasconcelos é natural de Óbidos, interior do Pará; é filho de seu Matias Vasconcelos, motorista de carro de frete, e Maria do Carmo Vasconcelos, professora infantil e costureira. Desde jovem sempre trabalhou para ajudar seus pais no sustento da casa, chegou a ser salgador de peixe durante o dia e garçom à noite.
Dedicava aos estudos, foi aprovado no curso de Odontologia na Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA) e outros concursos públicos, como o da Força Aérea Brasileira. Aos 23 anos serviu a Marinha do Brasil, já como oficial cirurgião-dentista designado para Manaus, viajando por diversas regiões da Amazônia. Na capital do Amazonas, tornou-se servidor público do Município e Estado, professor universitário, além de ocupar cargos estratégicos na área de saúde.
