Crise no Judô do Amazonas: ganância de alguns paralisa atividades prejudica toda a modalidade

Manaus (AM) – O judô amazonense atravessa uma das fases mais delicadas de sua história recente. Uma disputa interna pelo comando da Federação de Judô do Amazonas, iniciada no final de 2024, desencadeou uma crise institucional que resultou na paralisação das atividades por cerca de nove meses, intervenção externa e prejuízos diretos a atletas, árbitros e projetos esportivos no estado.

O conflito teve início durante o processo eleitoral da entidade, quando o então presidente, Davi Azevedo, indicou a professora Denise Oliveira como candidata à sucessão. A decisão provocou reação de membros da própria diretoria, que organizaram uma chapa opositora, liderada por Rômulo Sena e Diomedes Reis.

De acordo com relatos internos, a Comissão de Ética da federação — responsável também por conduzir o processo eleitoral, conforme o estatuto — realizou um levantamento das associações aptas a votar. Durante essa análise, foram identificadas supostas irregularidades em inscrições e participações em competições, critérios obrigatórios para garantir direito a voto.

Essas inconsistências levaram à exclusão de diversas associações do processo eleitoral, incluindo, segundo os relatos, entidades ligadas à chapa opositora. Entre os casos mais sensíveis está o impedimento da própria associação vinculada a Rômulo Sena, o que teria inviabilizado sua candidatura.

Diante desse cenário, no dia 31 de março, a Comissão Eleitoral declarou eleita a chapa encabeçada por Denise Oliveira, considerada regular dentro dos critérios estabelecidos pelo estatuto da federação.

Judicialização e paralisação

O impasse, no entanto, não se encerrou com a eleição. Integrantes da chapa derrotada recorreram à Justiça comum, decisão que, segundo críticos, contraria o estatuto da entidade e as diretrizes da Confederação Brasileira de Judô, que prevê a resolução de conflitos na esfera da Justiça Desportiva.

A judicialização levou à intervenção na federação. Por decisão judicial, foi solicitada à CBJ a nomeação de um administrador provisório. O escolhido foi Raimundo Fortunato Júnior, figura reconhecida no cenário local.

Apesar da nomeação, pouco avanço foi registrado. Segundo relatos, a orientação recebida pela intervenção teria sido de manter a federação sem פעילות efetiva, como forma de pressionar as partes a chegarem a um acordo — o que não ocorreu.

O resultado foi um longo período de inatividade institucional.

Impactos no esporte

A crise administrativa teve reflexos diretos no desempenho do judô amazonense. Durante o período de paralisação:

  • Competições oficiais deixaram de ser realizadas
  • Projetos esportivos foram interrompidos
  • Árbitros deixaram de ser convocados para eventos nacionais
  • Atletas perderam ritmo competitivo e oportunidades

O impacto já é visível nos resultados. Em competição regional realizada em São Luís, o Amazonas, historicamente entre os primeiros colocados, terminou apenas na quarta posição, ficando atrás de estados como Amapá, Maranhão e Piauí.

Há também preocupação com um possível isolamento ainda maior, incluindo dificuldades para participação em campeonatos brasileiros e internacionais.

Denúncias e acusações

No centro da crise estão acusações mútuas. De um lado, há alegações de que a Comissão Eleitoral agiu dentro do estatuto ao barrar associações irregulares. De outro, críticos apontam possível uso desses critérios para influenciar o resultado do pleito.  Desrespeito total ao Estatuto da Entidade e Egoísmo total diante de Atletas, Escolas, Familias e entusiastas da Modalidade.

Também há questionamentos sobre a postura da Confederação Brasileira de Judô, que, segundo denúncias, não teria atuado de forma firme para resolver o impasse, contribuindo para o prolongamento da crise.

Enquanto isso, a disputa entre a chapa liderada por Denise Oliveira — apontada como regular — e o grupo opositor segue sem solução definitiva.

Especialistas e integrantes do meio esportivo alertam que, se não houver uma resolução rápida, o judô amazonense pode entrar em um ciclo de enfraquecimento semelhante ao observado em outros estados, onde disputas políticas internas comprometeram o desenvolvimento da modalidade por anos.

A principal preocupação recai sobre os atletas, especialmente crianças e jovens, que dependem da estrutura da federação para competir, evoluir e acessar oportunidades no cenário nacional.

Um ponto que reforça a complexidade do impasse é que, ao longo de 2025, a chapa liderada pela professora Denise Oliveira buscou, por pelo menos três vezes, construir uma solução consensual para retomar as atividades da federação. Segundo relatos, houve tentativas formais de diálogo com o grupo opositor, incluindo reunião no escritório do advogado Renzo Romano, sem que se chegasse a um acordo. A iniciativa é apontada por apoiadores como um gesto de responsabilidade institucional, na medida em que, mesmo diante do impasse, a dirigente teria priorizado a reconstrução do judô amazonense e a retomada das atividades esportivas — esforço que, até o momento, não encontrou reciprocidade da outra parte.
