De olho em novos atletas, Circuito Amazonense de Wrestling será sábado (19/10)
A Federação Amazonense de Luta Livre Esportiva (Falle), com apoio da Secretaria de Estado de Juventude, Esporte e Lazer (Sejel), realiza no próximo sábado (19/10) mais um Circuito Amazonense de Wrestling, a partir das 17h, no Dojô da Vila Olímpica de Manaus, no bairro Dom Pedro, zona centro-oeste. A competição, que pretende reunir cerca de cem atletas na busca por novos talentos do esporte, terá disputas nas categorias Cadete (15 a 17 anos de idade), Junior (18 a 20) e iniciantes até os 14 anos de idade.
A inscrição para o Circuito custa R$ 20 e pode ser realizada até um dia antes da competição, na sexta-feira (18/10). Os interessados devem ligar para o número 99313-6614 para efetuar a sua participação no evento. Por ter o objetivo de fortalecer a base da modalidade, as inscrições para atletas até os 14 anos serão gratuitas.
Segundo Waldeci Silva, presidente da Falle, o Circuito Amazonense de Wrestling valerá pontos para o ranking estadual e, por isso, a expectativa é de que o sábado seja um dia de muita competitividade e grandes disputas.
“Os atletas das categorias Cadete e Junior estarão em busca do seu espaço na equipe, portanto teremos duelos de altíssimo nível. Para que o trabalho de base tenha no futuro um bom time, estamos garantindo, de forma gratuita, a participação de lutadores até os 14 anos. Com isso, mais atletas participarão, e teremos mais possibilidades de revelar campeões”.
O titular da Sejel, Caio André de Oliveira, destaca a importância da Luta Olímpica no estado, que tem se tornado a cada ano mais referência na formação de atletas do esporte, ganhando campeonatos e promovendo disputas com lutadores de todo o Amazonas e de outras cidades brasileiras.
“A luta olímpica amazonense já é referência para muitos outros estados, e isso é reflexo de um bom trabalho de base realizado pela federação. Nossos atletas, sempre que vão para disputas nacionais, representam muito bem o Amazonas e trazem resultados que positivos”, destacou.
