Basquetebol dá sequencia no Amazonense sub-17
Com apoio da Secretaria de Estado da Juventude, Esportes e Lazer (Sejel), a Federação de Basketball do Amazonas (Febam) realizará no próximo fim de semana (03 e 04/07) a terceira rodada do Campeonato Amazonense Sub-17 Masculino. A competição será no ginásio Cel Dom Pedro, localizado no bairro Dom Pedro, zona centro-oeste de Manaus, ao lado da praça de alimentação.
“É de grande relevância as competições realizadas nas categorias de base. É esse trabalho sério na formação dos atletas que garantirá a força das modalidades no futuro. O basquete é um dos mais populares e nós temos muitos craques”, elogia Caio André de Oliveira, secretário da Sejel.
Os jogos serão realizados sábado e domingo. No sábado, a partir de 8h a disputa fica entre NSG e CMM. Em seguida, às 9h20 Santa Doroteia e Cel Dom Pedro e, para finalizar, entram na quadra o Grêmio Iranduba e A. E. Lassalista às 10:40.
No domingo, o campeonato continua a partir de 9h, e o duelo fica entre A. E. Raiz contra AIMCA, e na sequencia finalizando, se enfrentam Mustangs CMPM VII contra CEAV às 10h20.
Para o presidente da Febam, Ali Assi, o desempenho dos atletas, dos técnicos e dos clubes em 2019 tem refletido em um alto nível na base. Apesar das dificuldades estruturais, estão todos muito motivados. “Esperamos repetir agora no segundo semestre o que fizemos no primeiro. Estamos observando um dos melhores campeonatos dos últimos tempos. Todo mundo quer o titulo”, finalizou Assi.
