O segundo maior evento do calendário cultural e turístico de Parintins, e o maior Carnaval do interior do Estado, agora é Patrimônio Cultural de Natureza Imaterial do Amazonas. A sanção governamental ocorreu esta semana, atendendo ao Projeto de Lei impetrado pela deputada estadual Mayra Dias (Avante).
O Carnailha é uma expressão da identidade cultural do povo parintinense, que mistura elementos do boi-bumbá, do samba e de outros ritmos regionais e nacionais. “O evento é uma forma de preservar e divulgar as tradições locais, bem como de integrar e diversificar as manifestações culturais do Estado”, destaca Mayra Dias na justificativa.
O evento, tradicionalmente realizado no domingo, segunda e terça de carnaval, surgiu como uma forma de valorizar a cultura local e promover o turismo na região. Além de gerar emprego e renda para o município, o Carnailha movimenta a economia local.
Para a deputada Mayra Dias, o Carnailha como Patrimônio Cultural e Imaterial reconhece a relevância e o valor desse evento para a cultura amazonense. “Como Patrimônio do Amazonas, garantimos a proteção, valorização e promoção do Carnailha”, assegura.
