Na programação do evento foi inclusa a entrega de honrarias concedidas pela casa, tais como: medalhas do Mérito JG Araújo, Medalhas do Sesquicentenário da Aca e título de Sócia-benemérita. E um dos agraciados da noite, com a medalha JG Araújo, foi o Chef Dedé Parente, sócio fundador do Grupo Dedé, onde seus empreendimentos levam o seu nome, Cachaçaria do Dedé, Dedé Boteco e Engenho Dedé, que empregam cerca de 450 colaboradores, ajudando a economia local a crescer cada vez mais.02
A cerimônia de 151 anos da ACA, aconteceu na noite do dia 23 de junho, no auditório Gilberto Mendes Azevedo, na sede da FIEAM e teve início às 19h. Na ocasião esteve presente autoridades do governo, prefeitura, indústria, comércio e representando a alimentação fora do lar, através da Abrasel no Amazonas, o presidente Rodrigo Zamperlini, acompanhado da esposa Grace Benayon.
De acordo com o chef Dedé Parente, “É uma grande honra receber esta medalha. Tudo começou com um sonho que sonhei sozinho e no decorrer do tempo comecei a sonhar juntamente com o meu sócio, sobrinho, compadre e amigo, Rogério Perdiz, que embarcou nesta ideia maluca e que deu certo. Hoje em dia somos um grupo com cerca de 450 funcionários (uma grande família). Esta medalha não é só minha e sim de todos que participam deste sonho comigo até hoje. Muito obrigado!”, declarou Dedé.
