O presidente da Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam), deputado estadual Roberto Cidade (UB), se solidarizou, nesta quarta-feira (6), com os moradores dos municípios do interior do Estado que vêm sofrendo em razão das enchentes causadas pelas fortes chuvas e pela subida dos rios da região.
O deputado destacou a situação do município de Apuí (distante a 408 Km de Manaus), que teve transbordados os rios Aripuanã, Camaiu, Sucunduri e seus afluentes, fazendo com que o prefeito Marcos Lise (UB) decretasse, partir desta quarta-feira, estado de alerta no município por 30 dias.
“No sul do Amazonas, em Apuí, também estamos sofrendo com as cheias. Ontem o prefeito Marcos Lise me procurou pedindo apoio. Já estou em contato com a Defesa Civil e com outros órgãos de controle para ver de que forma vamos poder contribuir para minimizar o sofrimento daquelas famílias”, afirmou o presidente.
De acordo com o prefeito de Apuí, o decreto que coloca o município em estado de alerta se deve “às fortes chuvas que atingem a microrregião de Apuí, Distrito de Sucunduri, Comunidade Vila do Carmo e Comunidade da Prainha, com temporais, alagamentos, quedas de árvores, danos às estradas, pontes e interrupção do serviço de distribuição de energia elétrica”.
“O rio Sucunduri, seus afluentes e o rio Camaiu registram cheias acima da média. No Distrito de Sucunduri, a cota de transbordamento já foi atingida. A ponte do rio Camaiu alagou, coisa que nunca aconteceu. Em Sucunduri está alagando a vila e as pessoas estão tendo que desocupar as casas. Estamos tendo que abrigar nas escolas, no centro social, na igreja. Estamos alojando as pessoas porque alagou o rio e juntou água de fossa, com água de cacimba e água de rio. Virou um problema sério”, relatou o prefeito Marcos Lise.
Parintins
O presidente Roberto Cidade se solidarizou ainda com a população de Parintins (distante 369 Km de Manaus), que vem sofrendo, nos últimos dias, com dezenas de ocorrências causadas pela subida do rio Amazonas e pelas fortes chuvas.
“Me solidarizo com toda a população parintinense que há alguns dias vem sofrendo muitos transtornos devido as chuvas e as cheias. O governador Wilson Lima foi ao município e destinou R$ 1 milhão para ajudar às pessoas afetadas, que ficaram desabrigadas. Estamos também cobrando os órgãos de controle para vermos de que forma vamos poder contribuir para minimizar o sofrimento daquelas famílias”, afirmou.
Cidade falou ainda sobre a necessidade de implementação de melhorias no saneamento do município para evitar que os mesmos transtornos se repitam continuamente. “Temos em Maués, no Baixo Amazonas, o maior sistema de saneamento básico do Estado e Parintins merece ter também um sistema parecido ou melhor. Isso, com certeza, iria minimizar os problemas que hoje se apresentam”, sugeriu.
