Maior celeridade nos atendimentos realizados pela Assembleia Legislativa, por meio da Comissão de Defesa do Consumidor (CDC/Aleam), dando as repostas rápidas e efetivas que a população precisa. Essa é, na opinião do presidente do Poder Legislativo, deputado Roberto Cidade (PV), a principal conquista da Casa com a assinatura do Termo de Cooperação Técnica, com o Tribunal de Justiça do Amazonas (TJAM), ocorrida nesta segunda-feira (13).
“É extremamente importante fazermos esse trabalho integrado com outras instituições para dar melhores resultados para o povo, que nos procura e espera de nós a solução dos seus problemas. Com certeza, esse termo de cooperação técnica vai ajudar muito a população que precisa desse serviço”, disse Cidade, que durante a assinatura esteve acompanhado dos deputados João Luiz (Republicanos) e Felipe Souza (Patriota), presidente e membro da CDC/Aleam, respectivamente.
Representando o TJAM, juiz Luís Márcio Nascimento Albuquerque, titular da 2ª. Vara do Juizado Especial Cível de Manaus, afirmou que o termo de cooperação tem como finalidade primordial atender o consumidor que procura o Procon Legislativo, dando mais celeridade às causas. “A gente atende basicamente aquele consumidor mais carente que não dispõe de advogado para ajuizar sua ação e procura o Procon. Não havendo acordo de conciliação no Procon o processo é encaminhado imediatamente ao juizado e no juizado ele é julgado”, explicou.

Na gestão de Roberto Cidade, a pauta de defesa do consumidor tem tido uma atenção especial. Em março, a CDC/Aleam inaugurou a 1ª Escola do Consumidor da Região Norte e lançou a 2ª Edição da Cartilha do Consumidor.
Há duas semanas, o Parlamento Estadual instalou a Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito (CPI) da Amazonas Energia, já que a concessionária é uma das campeãs de reclamação na Comissão de Defesa do Consumidor da Assembleia.
