Programa de Iniciação Esportiva do Governo do Amazonas ajuda crianças a vencerem a timidez
O Programa de Iniciação Esportiva do Governo do Estado oferecido no complexo da Vila Olímpica de Manaus para crianças e jovens entre 6 e 16 anos já beneficia quase dois mil alunos. Além da prática esportiva e do bem estar, o programa trabalha a socialização dos participantes e tem ajudado crianças a vencerem a timidez.
É o caso do aluno Dênis Cauê, 11 anos. Segundo a mãe, a universitária Juliana Priscila Santos, o filho trocou o videogame pelo futsal e desde fevereiro deste ano, quando entrou no programa, passou a interagir mais com outras crianças.
“Ele era muito preso ao videogame, preso dentro de casa. Ele gostava muito de ficar em casa e era uma criança sedentária. A gente sabe que hoje a maioria das crianças é assim. Por isso eu faço questão de trazer ele para interagir e socializar e sair um pouco daquele jogo virtual”, contou.
A dona de casa Rose Nogueira também conta que o esporte ajudou o filho, o estudante Marcos Nogueira, a vencer a timidez e se tornar mais participativo na escola. Marcos também está matriculado no futsal e pratica a modalidade desde fevereiro. “Ele nunca participou das atividades extracurriculares na escola. E, desde que começou a participar do futsal, ele começou a mudar. Este ano até pediu para participar da festa junina e dançar com as outras crianças”, lembra.
Administrado pela Secretaria de Estado de Juventude, Esporte e Lazer (Sejel), o programa oferece doze modalidades para crianças e jovens, que podem optar pelo turno matutino e vespertino – 8h às 11h e das 14h às 17h – entre Tênis de Mesa, Atletismo, Judô, Boxe, Luta Olímpica,
Ginástica Rítmica, Ginástica Artística, Xadrez, Vôlei, Basquete, Futsal e Handebol.
A coordenadora, Lilian Valente, explica que, além dos estudantes das escolas públicas, o Programa de Iniciação Esportiva trabalha com a socialização de crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade, que são encaminhadas pelos órgãos de apoio.
“Este ano, abrimos mais vagas no segundo semestre, porque a procura foi muito grande. Nós temos um trabalho voltado para a ressocialização e para crianças com enfermidade que são encaminhadas para gente
reforçar ações de socialização com foco no desenvolvimento da cidadania”, destacou.
Vagas remanescentes – Algumas modalidades, segundo Lilian, ainda estão com vagas abertas. Quem tiver interesse deve procurar o complexo da Vila Olímpica de Manaus, localizado na Avenida Pedro Teixeira, número 400, no bairro Dom Pedro. Modalidades como o Atletismo, Boxe, Luta Olímpica, Vôlei e Basquete são algumas.
“Começamos as aulas na segunda-feira passada (dia 7 de agosto) e ainda temos vagas em aberto que devem ser preenchidas. Durante o ano todo, o pai pode procurar que dentro das modalidades onde há vaga elas podem adentrar. Caso não tenha ainda este ano, abrimos novas vagas em fevereiro para o ano de 2018”, explicou.
