Novos aparelhos de ginástica artística começam a ser montados no Centro de Ginástica do Amazonas

Os novos aparelhos de ginástica artística, doados ao Centro de Ginástica do Amazonas (CGA) pela Confederação Brasileira de Ginástica (CBG), começaram a ser montados nesta quinta-feira (23/01) por um técnico da CBG, que veio especialmente a Manaus para realizar o serviço. Os equipamentos foram doados por meio de comodato ao Centro, que funciona na sede da Vila Olímpica de Manaus e contou com o apoio do Governo do Estado, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Educação e Desporto, para o transporte.

Avaliados em aproximadamente R$ 500 mil e com marca internacional reconhecida pela Confederação Internacional de Ginástica (FIG), os equipamentos transformam o Centro em um dos espaços mais bem equipados da região Norte para a prática da Ginástica Artística. O material vai atender alunos da Federação Amazonense de Ginástica (FAG), e do Núcleo de Iniciação ao Esporte da Fundação Amazonas de Alto Rendimento (Faar).

Foram doados ao CGA aparelhos de solo, paralelas assimétricas, paralelas simétricas, argolas, barra fixa, salto sobre a mesa, trave de equilíbrio. Já estão montadas as argolas, barras assimétricas e solo, e os trabalhos devem ser concluídos na sexta-feira (24/01).

De acordo com a vice-presidente da CBG e gestora do Projeto Núcleo de Base da Federação Amazonense de Ginástica (FAG) que funciona no Centro, Verônica Martins, após a montagem dos equipamentos, uma data será escolhida junto à Confederação para a inauguração dos equipamentos.

“Queremos fazer uma festa simbólica para inaugurar os novos aparelhos. Acredito que a chegada de mais esse recurso será uma excelente forma de fortalecer a ginástica no Amazonas”, afirmou.

Segundo a presidente, o ano de 2020 já começa bastante promissor com a novidade. Ela também explicou que o material, além de ser utilizado nos treinamentos, também poderá servir para a realização de competições da modalidade, atraindo assim cada vez maus praticantes do esporte.

Jogos Escolares – Em 2019, o Comitê Olímpico Brasileiro (COB), que promove os Jogos Escolares da Juventude (JEJ), informou que, a partir de 2020, a competição passaria a contar com disputas nas modalidades de Ginástica Artística e Taekwondo. Para Verônica Martins, a inclusão dessa modalidade nos Jogos Escolares do Amazonas (JEAs) será fundamental para a evolução dos atletas.

“Com isso, teremos oportunidades para mostrar o potencial de nossos atletas e todo o trabalho desenvolvido para que, daqui para frente, esse investimento possa trazer bons resultados para a ginástica artística do Amazonas”, enfatizou.

Balanço – Dentre as competições e atividades realizadas pela FAG em 2019, Verônica considerou como satisfatório o desempenho amazonense nas competições e nos treinamentos. Segundo ela, a Federação trabalhou fortemente na reorganização das atividades do ginásio.

“Quase todos os clubes amazonenses participaram, em julho do ano passado, do Torneio Regional, em Manaus, e classificaram ginastas para o Torneio Nacional, realizado pela CBG em Brasília, em outubro de 2019. Portanto o desempenho dos clubes foi satisfatório e espero que cresça ainda mais em 2020”, profetizou.
