Evento teste aprova a Piscina Olímpica do Amazonas
Um dos momentos mais esperados dos últimos anos, a utilização da piscina herdada dos Jogos Olímpicos do Rio de Janeiro, ocorreu de forma experimental nos dias 26, 27 e 28 de julho, com as provas de natação dos Jogos Escolares do Amazonas (JEAs) 2019. Após três dias de competições as instalações da piscina instalada na Vila Olímpica de Manaus foram aprovadas, assim como o maquinário que a faz funcionar e também o pátio, última parte construída.
“Identificamos alguns pequenos ajustes a serem feitos. É por isso que precisamos de eventos testes como o JEAs. Mas podemos dizer que está tudo mais de 95% aprovado”, afirma Caio André de Oliveira, secretário de Juventude Esportes e Lazer (Sejel).
Entre os pontos analisados no primeiro evento teste, o sistema de filtragem foi aprovado, com o pH (potencial hidrogeniônico, que indica a acidez, neutralidade ou alcalinidade) da água se mantendo dentro do exigido durante as competições. O piso do entorno também foi aprovado, não sendo observado nenhum incidente nos três dias. Os vestiários, totalmente reformados, atenderam a todas as expectativas e também foram aprovados.
Mais um ou dois eventos testes deverão ser realizados para averiguação geral das arquibancadas e iluminação. “Temos que rever uma parte da calçada que empoçou água, e só. Todo o resto foi aprovado. Ainda teremos outros eventos e, depois que o governador Wilson Lima inaugurar oficialmente a nossa piscina, iremos retornar com as escolinhas de natação na nossa Vila Olímpica, ainda esse ano”, afirma Caio.
Além de dar espaço para os atletas estudantis, o primeiro evento teste teve o importante papel de apresentar aos estudantes alguns dos ex-atletas, atletas e técnicos, responsáveis pela força da natação amazonense nos últimos 40 anos. Os 190 jovens que disputaram os primeiros lugares do JEAs puderam conhecer heróis das piscinas do Amazonas como Ali Almeida, primeiro técnico amazonense a ter o certificado de técnico Olímpico, Vitor Hugo Façanha (Botinho), detentor de vários títulos estaduais e Norte Nordeste; Alfredo Jacaúna, primeiro atleta do estado a vencer a travessia Almirante Tamandaré e atual presidente da Federação Amazonense de Desportos Aquáticos (Fada); e Jeferson Mascarenhas, primeiro atleta do estado a conquistar medalha nos Jogos Escolares Brasileiros (JUBs).
“Momento espetacular, inclusive ao nos lembrarmos desses gigantes da natação, que merecem muito. Ainda não é a inauguração, mas já pudemos ver que será algo bem grandioso para o Amazonas e para a nossa natação”, completou Caio André.
No time de homenageados estavam ainda os atletas Hudson Rodrigues, (campeão brasileiro e sul-americano), Luiza Marillac (recordista amazonense e campeã Norte e Nordeste), Luciane Barroncas (23 vezes medalhista do Brasileiro por categoria, prata no Absoluto e bronze no Pan de Toronto em 2015), Helissandro Aquino (campeão Norte e Nordeste, e recordista absoluto amazonense), Luciana Oliveira (bicampeã brasileira), Cayo Henrique Vasconcelos (vice-campeão amazonense e recordista absoluto nos 200 metros peito) e Elisa Maia (campeã e recordista do Norte e Nordeste, vice-campeã dos Jogos Escolares da Juventude-JEJ em 2017 e 2018).
Para o Vitor Hugo, ver o parque aquático em funcionamento é motivo de muita alegria. “Quero parabenizar o governador Wilson Lima e o secretário Caio André, que não mediram esforços para a piscina finalmente funcionar. Nós nos sentimos muito felizes ao ver toda essa movimentação, essas disputas, até porque sabemos bem o quanto a modalidade teve prejuízo no desenvolvimento pela falta desse aparelho. Foi um teste, mas já ficamos ansiosos pela inauguração, pois o esporte vai ganhar muito”, afirmou.
A prova de 50 metros livre infantil feminino foi a que abriu as disputas dos jogos e as atividades esportivas na piscina. A primeira medalha conquistada na piscina olímpica é da atleta Yasmim Beatriz, de 13 anos, do 8º ano do Centro Educacional Cellus, de Manaus. Ela foi primeiro lugar na categoria e exibiu com orgulho o título.
“Eu faço natação desde os 5 anos de idade, e desde o 7 estou no alto rendimento. Muitas conquistas eu alcancei, mas não estava bem nessa prova. Acabei de me superar e venci. Estou feliz por ser a primeira medalha de ouro nessa piscina, que é incrível”, destacou a nadadora.
Outro vencedor do dia foi o atleta Caio Arcos, 14, do 9º ano do CMPM IV Áurea Pinheiro Braga. Ele lembrou que competiu na antiga piscina, mas a atual é singular e o ajudou na conquista do primeiro lugar nos 100 metros costas. “A piscina tem características bem singulares, ela é rasa e facil de nadar. Estou vindo de quatro semanas seguidas de competições, e hoje foi mais um dia bom. Convenhamos que a piscina ajudou muito”, falou, aos risos.
O dia não foi só de vitórias, mas muito marcante para alunos que nunca tinham visto – e muito menos nadado – em uma piscina olímpica. Marcos Eduardo Stival, 12, do 7º ano do Colégio Militar de Manaus (CMM), foi uma dessas figuras. Ele pratica natação há pouco mais de um ano e nunca tinha disputado o JEAs. Com os amigos na torcida, ele ficou em quinto lugar na disputa, porém feliz de desfrutar da piscina.
“É uma grande e linda piscina. Eu me esforcei e acho que fui bem, afinal é a minha primeira vez. Meus amigos vieram assistir à competição e me incentivar, mas não deu para vencer. O importante é que nadei na piscina e conheci alguns dos nossos gigantes da natação”, finalizou.
