O presidente da Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam), deputado estadual Roberto Cidade (UB), acompanhou, nesta sexta-feira (6/3), a ação dedicada às mães atípicas realizada no Centro de Inclusão Sensorial Dr. Hamilton Cidade, na sede da Casa, na zona Centro-Sul de Manaus. O Centro é um dos maiores espaços especializados no tratamento de crianças e adolescentes neurodivergentes do Brasil.
A iniciativa, denominada “Um Dia de Autocuidado: Cuidando de Quem Cuida”, ocorreu em alusão ao Dia Internacional da Mulher, celebrado no próximo dia 8 de março.
Roberto Cidade destacou que o centro especializado em Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), além de cuidar do paciente, também presta atenção às mães ou responsáveis atípicas, que enfrentam diariamente os desafios impostos pelos sintomas dos transtornos.
Durante esta sexta-feira, as mães receberam serviços gratuitos voltados ao cuidado pessoal e ao embelezamento, valorizando a autoestima por meio de massagem, reflexologia, manicure e pedicure, cabeleireiro, maquiagem e fotografia, entre outros atendimentos.
“E nós, aqui na Assembleia, no nosso Centro de Inclusão Sensorial, onde atendemos nossas crianças atípicas, também cuidamos das mães. Elas vêm para cá, deixam seus filhos na terapia, realizando o tratamento, e também aproveitam um momento para si mesmas. Um momento em que sairão daqui maquiadas, receberão massagem e terão apoio psicológico”, comentou Roberto Cidade, que estava acompanhado da primeira-dama do Legislativo Amazonense, Thaisa Cidade.
O presidente da Assembleia aproveitou o momento dedicado às guerreiras amazonenses para parabenizar cada mulher do Estado.
“Quero parabenizar, em nome das mulheres atípicas, todas as mulheres do Estado do Amazonas, todas aquelas que precisam de um olhar diferenciado. Sem elas, nós não conseguimos viver. Então, só tenho a agradecer e parabenizar toda a equipe da Assembleia. Mais uma vez, a nossa presidência fazendo a diferença”, finalizou Roberto Cidade.
Segundo o diretor de Saúde da Assembleia Legislativa, médico Arnoldo Andrade, o presidente Roberto Cidade foi sensível ao perceber que as mães ou responsáveis atípicas também necessitam de acompanhamento especial, sobretudo diante dos desafios do cuidado diário com seus filhos e netos.
“O presidente, com sua sensibilidade, percebeu, em visitas anteriores e nas conversas com as mães ou responsáveis que trazem seus filhos para atendimento, que muitas vezes elas se dedicam totalmente às crianças e acabam se esquecendo de si mesmas. Nesse sentido, surgiu a iniciativa de reservar um dia para elas, um dia de embelezamento, relaxamento e despreocupação. Isso porque seus filhos estão sendo atendidos por especialistas e acompanhados por uma equipe multidisciplinar. Isso é humanização, é o verdadeiro sentido de se preocupar com o próximo”, declarou o diretor.
Cuidado
“Eu achei maravilhoso, porque acredito que precisamos ter oportunidade de nos cuidar. Cuidar de quem cuida, como o programa está dizendo. Acho importantíssimo que tenhamos essa oportunidade não só hoje, mas de vez em quando, para tirar um tempinho para nós mesmas”, destacou Neide Basílio, avó de uma paciente neuroatípica.
“Eu gostaria de dizer a todas as mães atípicas que se cuidem, porque vocês precisam estar bem em primeiro lugar. Como vão cuidar das crianças se não cuidarem de si mesmas também? Muitas vezes a gente se esquece da gente para cuidar da criança. Por isso, é importante que também nos cuidemos”, completou a aposentada.
Centro Sensorial
O Centro de Inclusão Sensorial Dr. Hamilton Cidade, localizado na sede da Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam), em Manaus, foi inaugurado em 2 de dezembro de 2025, durante a gestão do presidente Roberto Cidade.
O espaço foi criado para oferecer atendimento médico ambulatorial e acompanhamento multidisciplinar a crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção com Hiperatividade (TDAH), Síndrome de Down e outros transtornos do neurodesenvolvimento.
O Centro tem capacidade para atender até 250 crianças, com faixa etária inicial de 1 a 14 anos, contando com cerca de 24 profissionais especializados em áreas como psicologia, terapia ocupacional, fisioterapia, fonoaudiologia, nutrição, odontologia, serviço social e clínica médica. A estrutura também conta com equipamentos voltados ao desenvolvimento sensorial, motor e cognitivo, oferecendo suporte às famílias das crianças atendidas.
