Previsto para ser enviado ao Congresso Nacional nesta semana, o pacote de corte de gastos obrigatórios será apresentado a outros ministérios nesta terça-feira (5), informou nesta noite o Ministério da Fazenda. Em nota, a pasta disse que a reunião desta segunda-feira (4) à tarde serviu para a discussão do quadro fiscal do país e o detalhamento das propostas em discussão pelo governo.
“Nesta terça, outros ministérios serão chamados pela Casa Civil para que também possam opinar e contribuir no âmbito das mesmas informações”, informou a pasta.
Realizada no fim da tarde, a segunda reunião do dia entre o ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, e o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva durou cerca de três horas. Também compareceram ao encontro as ministras do Planejamento, Simone Tebet, e da Gestão e Inovação em Serviços Públicos, Esther Dweck, e o ministro-chefe da Casa Civil, Rui Costa.
Pela manhã, Haddad e vários ministros reuniram-se com o presidente Lula para fazer o balanço das ações do G20, grupo das 19 maiores economias do planeta, mais União Europeia e União Africana, presidido pelo Brasil neste ano. Além de Haddad e Lula, o encontro reuniu os ministros Rui Costa (Casa Civil), Mauro Vieira (Relações Exteriores) e Márcio Macêdo (Secretaria-Geral).
Durante o fim de semana, informou Haddad, Lula pediu que técnicos da equipe econômica lhe apresentassem os detalhes das medidas de corte de gastos obrigatórios. Segundo o ministro, os pontos que cabem ao Ministério da Fazenda estão com as definições bastante adiantadas.
A pedido do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Haddad cancelou a viagem à Europa prevista para esta semana. Oficialmente, a pasta informou que o ministro permanecerá em Brasília, “dedicado a temas domésticos”.
