Desde o início da Operação Aceiro 2024, no mês de junho, o Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Amazonas (CBMAM), já realizou mais de 100 palestras de conscientização sobre combate às queimadas para os comunitários dos 12 municípios do sul do Amazonas, e da região metropolitana de Manaus que possuem os maiores índices de incêndios.
Além de intensificar o trabalho operacional com envio de viaturas e bombeiros, a missão é composta pelo trabalho de sensibilização da população, por meio de palestras em escolas públicas dos municípios, entrega de folders educativos com dicas de prevenção e orientação sobre como proceder e quais órgãos acionar no caso de queimadas. São realizados também treinamentos em comunidades rurais e ribeirinhas, ensinando técnicas de manejo do plantio sem uso do fogo e a forma correta de fazer aceiros nas propriedades.
“Junto ao trabalho de combate aos incêndios, os nossos militares quando não estão na linha de combate, estão nos centros urbanos dos municípios, nas comunidades rurais e ribeirinhas orientando e conscientizando a população para que possam também nos auxiliar nessa verdadeira batalha contra as queimadas”, enfatizou o coronel Alexandre Gama, Comandante-Geral do Corpo de Bombeiros.
Atualmente, a Operação Aceiro é composta por mais de 600 agentes, entre bombeiros, brigadistas e homens da Força Nacional. As ações de conscientização ocorreram nos municípios de Humaitá, Boca do Acre, Apuí, Lábrea, Manicoré, Manaquiri, Autazes, Careiro Castanho, Novo Aripuanã, Tapauá, Canutama e Maués.
Operação Aceiro – Reforço
Na segunda-feira (26/08), a operação, que está na terceira fase, ganhou reforço de 200 bombeiros, que além de ampliar as equipes que já estão nos municípios do sul do estado, também vão atuar na Região Metropolitana, nas cidades de Iranduba, Manacapuru, Rio Preto da Eva, Itacoatiara, Presidente Figueiredo, Novo Airão.
