Durante o mês de novembro, pessoas que possuem dívidas com bancos e financeiras poderão negociar os seus débitos.
Começa nesta sexta-feira (1º) o Mutirão Nacional de Negociação de Dívidas e Orientação Financeira, uma iniciativa conjunta da Federação Brasileira de Bancos (Febraban), Banco Central (BC), Secretaria Nacional do Consumidor (Senacon) e dos Procons de todo o país com o objetivo de ajudar o consumidor a reequilibrar suas finanças.
Na edição anterior, realizada em março deste ano, foram mais de 1,6 milhões de contratos repactuados. Na página do mutirão na internet é possível consultar a relação de bancos participantes. A ação segue até 30 de novembro.
Podem ser negociadas dívidas no cartão de crédito, cheque especial, crédito consignado e outras modalidades de crédito contraídas de bancos e instituições financeiras, que estejam em atraso, não possuam bens dados em garantia e não estejam prescritas.
Durante a ação, as empresas participantes oferecem parcelamento, descontos no valor da dívida ou ainda taxas de juros reduzidas para refinanciamento, de acordo com cada política de crédito.
O mutirão não é indicado para o consumidor protegido pela Lei do Superendividamento. Está superendividada aquela pessoa impossibilitada de quitar as dívidas e manter a sua subsistência ou a de sua família. Nesse caso, a recomendação é entrar em contato diretamente com o Procon.
Cada consumidor pode consultar suas dívidas no Registrato, sistema do Banco Central por meio do qual é possível acessar, entre outros, o Relatório de Empréstimos e Financiamentos (SCR), que contém a relação de dívidas perante as instituições financeiras. Para acessar o sistema é preciso ter uma conta no Gov.br, canal de serviços digitais do governo federal.
As negociações podem ser feitas diretamente com a instituição credora, em seus canais oficiais, ou com intermediação por meio do portal Consumidor.Gov.Br. Nesse último caso, também é necessária uma conta Gov.br, nos níveis Prata ou Ouro.
