Com apoio da Sejel, Maratona Sustentável reúne mais de 2 mil pessoas na Ponte Phelippe Daou

Com a participação de mais de 2 mil pessoas, a Meia Maratona Sustentável tomou conta da Ponte Jornalista Phelippe Daou, a Ponte Rio Negro, na manhã do último domingo (09/06), às 5h30. O evento, realizado pelo Centro de Ensino Técnico (Centec), em parceria com a Secretaria de Estado de Juventude, Esportes e Lazer (Sejel), contou com provas de 6 Km, 10 Km e 21 Km, além de distribuição de mudas, show musical e muita conscientização ambiental.

Para o titular da Sejel, Caio André de Oliveira, mais que uma ação educativa, a Meia Maratona levou saúde para todos os participantes. “A Meia Maratona foi um grande evento e garantiu, por meio do esporte (corrida), saúde e qualidade de vida a todos os participantes. O bom é que, além de praticar uma atividade física, a comunidade também fica ciente de que deve preservar o meio ambiente. Se cada um fizer a sua parte, podemos ter um mundo muito melhor”, destacou.

Ao todo foram disponibilizadas 1.500 inscrições, porém mais de 2 mil pessoas estiveram presentes para colaborar com o trabalho de conscientização que é a competição. De acordo com a diretora do Centec, Eliana Pinheiro, a ação destacou a responsabilidade de todos quanto aos cuidados com o planeta.

“Com a Semana do Meio Ambiente, buscamos oferecer aos participantes as melhores formas de terem consciência da importância que é o cuidado com o meio em que vivemos. Na instituição, temos o curso Técnico de Meio Ambiente e aproveitamos para realizar a maratona, que foi um sucesso, tendo em vista o público presente. Se cada participante entendeu a grande responsabilidade que temos de cuidar do mundo, então nossa missão foi cumprida”, afirmou.

O primeiro lugar feminino dos 6 Km ficou com a jogadora de vôlei de praia e quadra, Maria Rainiele, de 21 anos, que pratica corrida de rua há dois anos. Sobre o tema da maratona, a vencedora afirmou ser algo muito importante e que a estimulou a correr.

“Todos temos que tomar a iniciativa de conscientização sobre a preservação do meio ambiente, da água e dos recursos naturais. Acredito que o tema é mais que necessário. Adoro correr e quando surge um tema como esse, de conscientização, participo com mais empolgação”, ressaltou Maria.

Atitude – O primeiro lugar da prova de 6 Km masculino foi para o venezuelano Johander Velásquez, de 25 anos. Feliz com a vitória, ele classificou a competição como uma ação nobre.
“Em todos os cantos do mundo precisamos de iniciativas que enfatizem o zelo pelo ambiente e pelo lugar em que vivemos. A Meia Maratona é uma ação nobre e que precisa do carinho, atenção e, o mais importante, da atitude de todos”, concluiu.

Premiação – Nas provas de 6 Km e 10 Km, os participantes que ficaram nos três primeiros lugares de cada categoria receberam troféus. Já para a prova de 21 Km, a premiação foi paga em dinheiro para as três primeiras colocações.
