Festival Pirão celebra a cultura independente em Manaus

Neste domingo (22/09), o cenário independente cultural de Manaus ganha destaque com a realização da 36ª edição do Pirão, um festival que, ao longo de suas mais de três décadas de existência, se consolidou como um dos principais eventos culturais da região. O projeto foi contemplado em edital da Lei Paulo Gustavo, executado pelo Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura e Economia Criativa.

Organizado por Tina Guimarães, produtora cultural e idealizadora do movimento Pirão, o evento continua sua missão de valorizar e impulsionar a cena artística local apresentando, nesta edição, as bandas Beira Choro, Trialis, Los Matrinxãs e Casa de Caba.

Desde sua primeira edição, o Pirão tem se dedicado a abrir espaço para bandas e artistas emergentes da Amazônia, oferecendo uma plataforma para o crescimento da música independente. Ao longo dos anos, o festival se tornou um ponto de encontro para veteranos e novos talentos, criando um espaço confortável que une a diversidade cultural da região.

“Cada edição do Pirão reflete a força da nossa comunidade e o amor pela música e arte independente”, afirma Tina Guimarães, produtora do Pirão. O festival, que começou como um pequeno evento, hoje se destaca como um símbolo de resistência cultural, sempre fiel à proposta de ser um espaço democrático e de valorização da arte regional.

Em 2024, o Pirão já realizou diversas edições ao longo do ano, cada uma trazendo uma combinação única de música, arte e feiras criativas. A edição deste domingo deverá ser o encerramento da temporada, mas Tina garante que o planejamento para 2025 já está em andamento: “Foi um ano incrível, e vamos continuar fortalecendo a cultura local no próximo ano”, garante.

Programação diversificada

O público que comparecer à edição deste domingo poderá aproveitar uma programação diversificada, com apresentações de bandas emergentes e já conhecidas na cena local. O evento também contará com uma feira criativa, onde artesãos e artistas locais expõem seus trabalhos, promovendo a economia criativa da região.

A importância de eventos como o Pirão vai além do entretenimento. Eles fortalecem a identidade cultural local, dão visibilidade a novos talentos e fomentam a diversidade artística. “Esses eventos são fundamentais, pois proporcionam um espaço para os artistas independentes se apresentarem e se conectarem com o público. É um momento de celebração da nossa cultura e de inspiração para as futuras gerações”, destaca a produtora.

Além de seu papel cultural, o Pirão também impacta a economia local, criando oportunidades para artistas, produtores e empreendedores da região, além de promover um senso de comunidade e pertencimento.
