Estudantes, pesquisadores, admiradores da cultura popular e o público em geral interessado poderão participar nesta sexta-feira, 1/12, do Seminário de Cultura Popular promovido pelo Conselho Municipal de Cultura (Concultura). O encontro ocorrerá no Salão de Vidro do Olímpico Clube, no bairro Presidente Vargas, zona Sul, a partir das 19h.

A palestra de abertura do evento será “Cultura: Elos Perdidos”, ministrada pelo poeta, músico e vice-presidente do Concultura, Celdo Braga.

“Precisamos nos vincular com as informações das nossas raízes culturais, não apenas disseminar uma cultura de eventos, mas ter um elo de compromisso com nossa história”, ressaltou o poeta Celdo sobre o tema abordado.

O escritor e presidente do Concultura, Marcio Souza, também é uma das presenças confirmadas no seminário com a palestra “A cultura popular como instrumento de renovação e transformação”. Além dele, o diretor de Carnaval, Almir Nascimento, e a coordenadora de cultura popular, Ednelza Sahdo, dialogarão sobre a “A Cultura e sua essência popular”.

Ainda na programação, o especialista em gestão cultural, Alvatir Carolino, falará sobre o “Folclore e Folcloristas: Significância e autodefinição frente aos órgãos de cultura”.

Para o pesquisador, a luta pela cultura folclórica é a reflexão dos diferentes meios que constituem o individuo na sociedade.

“Nessa palestra pretendo trazer a minhas reflexões sobre os conceitos de folclore, como processo de disputa entre os âmbitos políticos, ambientais, acadêmicos entre outros, e como essas relações tem poder no conceito da sociedade”, disse o especialista.

O Olímpico Clube está localizado na avenida Constantino Nery, 1.105, bairro Presidente Vargas.  O evento é gratuito e irá até às 22h.
