O Presidente da Federação de Jiu-Jitsu do Amazonas, Elvys Damasceno, recebe o seu 6• grau, depois de 24 anos de faixa preta de Jiu-Jitsu, das mãos do ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Luiz Fux que é mestre faixa vermelha e branca 8 grau na arte suave, ambos são pupilos do grande mestre Osvaldo Alves, responsável pelo desenvolvimento do Jiu-Jitsu mundial.
Elvys, além do grande serviço prestado a frente da maior Federação do Amazonas (FJJAM) tem um projeto social vitorioso com crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade, o projeto é reconhecido como o melhor do Brasil por cinco anos consecutivos, e com resultados sociais concretos.
Fux disse “Fiz questão de realizar pessoalmente, pois, acompanho o Elvys e sua carreira esportiva desde os anos noventa, com alunos fenomenais, do seu projeto. Além da proximidade e Fidelidade ao mestre Osvaldo Alves, então, é mais que justa essa graduação”.
“Para mim é uma honra indescritível receber o meu sexto grau das mãos do mestre Fux, pois, sei que ele sempre recebeu a escola direto do mestre Osvaldo Alces, representa realmente a escola, por seus conhecimentos técnicos, honradez e lealdade.” Finaliza Elvys.
