Demora na escolha de nome para comandar Suframa preocupa vereador Peixoto

Parlamentar cobra posicionamento sobre a segurança na matriz econômica da capital

A falta de nomeação de um novo superintendente para a Superintendência da Zona Franca de Manaus (Suframa), 18 dias após o início da nova gestão federal, preocupa o vereador Peixoto (Pros).

Além da demora na escolha de um representante para a autarquia, o parlamentar observa como um sinal de preocupação as recentes falas do vice-presidente e ministro do Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), que afirmou que irá trabalhar para acabar com a cobrança do Imposto sobre Produtos Industrializados (IPI), sem excepcionalizar o polo local.

“É preciso encarar esse cenário com muita atenção, pois são situações preocupantes. No governo passado acompanhamos as seguidas tentativas do então ministro Paulo Guedes, em relação ao IPI e muito se fez para reverter isso, mas agora, o que está sendo feito? Estamos na terceira semana do ano, de uma nova gestão e nenhuma sinalização positiva em relação às nossas indústrias, nem em relação ao novo superintendente da Suframa que poderia já estar se articulando em meio a essas ameaças. Isso, na minha opinião, são sérios sinais negativos”, analisa Peixoto.

O ex-superintendente da Suframa, General Algacyr Polsin, deixou o cargo no último dia 28 de dezembro. Desde lá, servidores e colaboradores continuam com o funcionamento de atividades e operações da pasta. Contudo, decisões superiores estão paradas, pois necessitam da nomeação do superintendente ou de um adjunto.

“Mesmo sendo a favor do governo passado, já me posicionei várias vezes contra as ações de Paulo Guedes no ministério e compartilho da ideia que já ultrapassamos a hora de criar novas matrizes econômicas. Entretanto, hoje, a nossa sustentação vem das indústrias, portanto, é hora de cobrar como manauara e agir como parlamentar e buscar resguardar os mais de 100 mil empregos diretos e os quase 500 mil indiretos”, frisa o vereador.
