Na quarta-feira (8), investigadores da Delegacia Especializada em Homicídios e Sequestros (DEHS) prenderam o comerciante Antônio Freire Nogueira Júnior, 36 anos, pelo assassinato a tiros de Fernando Henrique da Silva Peres, 18 anos, um morador de rua. O crime ocorreu na noite de segunda-feira (6) em um terreno baldio na avenida Autaz Mirim, bairro Novo Aleixo, zona Norte de Manaus.
Segundo a delegada Débora Barreiro, responsável pelas investigações, Antônio confessou o crime detalhadamente, alegando vingança. Ele afirmou que Fernando praticava furtos em sua loja e em outros estabelecimentos da região.
“Ele nos disse que Fernando estava envolvido em pequenos furtos nos comércios locais, incluindo o seu próprio estabelecimento. Em busca do material furtado, encontrou Fernando no terreno baldio e, após uma discussão, efetuou cinco disparos, resultando na morte de Fernando“, relatou a delegada.
Após o homicídio, Antônio fugiu do local, mas foi identificado pelos investigadores da DEHS através de imagens de câmeras de segurança que registraram seu carro, um Fox vermelho, de onde desceram dois homens próximos ao local do crime.
Antônio Freire foi detido e enfrentará acusações de homicídio qualificado por motivo fútil. Ele será encaminhado à Audiência de Custódia no Fórum Ministro Henoch da Silva Reis, bairro São Francisco, zona Sul de Manaus, onde aguardará o julgamento pelo Poder Judiciário. O segundo envolvido no homicídio foi identificado, mas ainda não foi localizado pela polícia.
