Com 900 competidores inscritos, Fajje realizará Copa dos Campeões no sábado (03/08)

Com 900 competidores inscritos, será realizada no sábado (03/08), a partir das 9h, a Copa dos Campeões 2019, que terá como palco o ginásio Ninimberg Guerra, localizado no bairro São Jorge, zona oeste de Manaus. O evento, que conta com o apoio do Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Juventude, Esportes e Lazer (Sejel), é promovido pela Federação Amazonense de Jiu-Jitsu Esportivo (Fajje).

“A Copa é uma grande oportunidade para esses mais de 700 atletas mostrarem seu potencial e demonstrarem a força do jiu-jitsu amazonense. Este é um esporte que move vários atletas e academias, o que é extremamente importante para o desenvolvimento dessa modalidade no estado”, comentou o titular da Sejel, Caio André de Oliveira.

Com disputas para todos os gostos, a Copa dos Campeões será realizada em todas as faixas etárias e categorias de peso, nos naipes masculino e feminino, com e sem kimono. De acordo com o presidente da Fajje, Luís Neto, este campeonato servirá especificamente para a obtenção de pontos no ranking da federação, que tem por objetivo manter alto e elevado o nível técnico do jiu-jitsu amazonense.

“A expectativa para o evento é fazer com que o esporte possa brilhar e muitos talentos possam ser revelados. Além disso, essa é mais uma forma das academias, professores e agremiações interagirem, para que os atletas se aproximem dos campeões mundiais, entre outros destaques do jiu-jitsu amazonense”, explicou Luís Neto.

O presidente da Fejja assinala que o Amazonas “é um celeiro de campeões na arte suave”. “Queremos que o atleta possa enxergar a saída dos maus caminhos e ter a certeza de que ele pode conquistar seus sonhos, por meio do esporte”, complementou.

Destaque no tatame, o atleta faixa roxa Marfran Diogo Figueiredo, de 18 anos, já está com a inscrição garantida para a competição. Atleta do Clube Pina, ele comentou sobre a preparação para a Copa dos Campeões.

“Sou competidor e sempre luto para ser o melhor do ano da Fajje. Treino todos os dias e minha preparação envolve corrida, exercícios físicos e muito treino específico para chegar da melhor forma possível nas competições. A expectativa para a Copa é a melhor possível, espero fazer boas lutas, impondo o meu jogo sempre e buscando a finalização em todos os combates”, destacou.

Premiação – Serão agraciados com medalhas personalizadas os atletas que alcançarem as três primeiras colocações de cada categoria. Já as academias que ocuparem os 1º, 2º e 3º lugares serão contempladas com troféus e uma premiação em dinheiro nos valores de R$ 1 mil, R$ 500 e R$ 300, respectivamente. Na categoria Absoluto, também haverá premiação em dinheiro para os campeões das faixas azul, roxa, marrom e preta, em ambos os naipes.
